What was needed
Prepare the commercial work area and assess the column surfaces; gently remove loose and aged coatings, dirt and surface contamination from the steel columns and connected structural elements; work progressively around the profiles and details to achieve an even finish; and leave the exposed steel clean and ready for specified protective coatings. The approach prioritises controlled surface restoration over unnecessarily aggressive blasting.
