A careful restoration of heavy-duty steel wheels from a vintage farm truck in Leicestershire. The treatment lifted decades of layered paint, surface rust and agricultural grime while respecting the underlying metal, leaving the wheels clean, even and ready for a durable protective finish.

What was needed
We assessed the wheel surfaces, removed failing coatings and corrosion deposits with a controlled, low-impact abrasive process, and worked into the rims, spokes and recessed details without unnecessarily abrading sound steel. After cleaning, the restored surfaces were checked for consistency and prepared for priming and repainting as part of the vehicle's wider refurbishment.
