A careful exterior restoration brought a Victorian brick property back to its original character. Birmingham Sandblasting gently lifted layers of red paint from the prominent corner and lower courses, allowing the varied tones, texture and craftsmanship of the underlying brickwork to show through again.

What was needed
The work focused on controlled removal of the painted coating from the external brick walls, with particular attention to the exposed corner elevation and lower brick courses. Surface-friendly blasting settings were selected to remove the unwanted paint while respecting the aged brick faces and mortar joints, leaving the masonry clean, consistent and ready for any finishing or repair work required by the owner.
