A careful facade refresh for a Victorian terraced home, bringing tired red brick back to a cleaner, more even appearance. Birmingham Sandblasting used a controlled ultra-low-pressure microstrip process to lift accumulated grime, algae and weather staining while respecting the brick face and original mortar joints.

What was needed
Clean the accessible red-brick elevations of the terraced property, targeting ingrained dirt, organic growth and weather-related discolouration. Work was planned around the sensitivity of historic masonry, using gentle pressure and a suitable fine media approach rather than aggressive blasting, with close control around mortar lines, edges and architectural details.
