A tired internal flagstone floor was carefully refreshed to recover the natural variation and character of the stone. Using a controlled, gentle surface-cleaning approach rather than aggressive blasting, the restoration lifted ingrained dirt and dull surface so the room felt brighter, cleaner and ready for finishing.

What was needed
The work covered the exposed flagstones across the room, including the floor beneath and around the staircase and beside the timber doorway. The team assessed the stone first, protected adjoining joinery and finishes, then used suitably controlled media and pressure to clean the slabs while preserving their texture, edges and existing character.
