How the surface was prepared.
The work covered a detailed assessment and clean-down of fire-affected masonry and cladding, targeted removal of soot and heat-related staining, and the controlled preparation of brick, breeze block and associated stone surfaces. Fragile or sound areas were treated progressively, with protection and careful detailing around edges and adjoining finishes. The completed surfaces were cleared of loose residue and left in a stable, presentable condition for the next stage of restoration.
