Oak beams
A careful interior restoration that refreshed heavily darkened oak beams and helped the room feel lighter, cleaner and more welcoming. The work focused on revealing the timber's natural character while respecting the surrounding interior and the age of the property.

What was needed
Prepare and protect the interior, then use a controlled, low-impact blasting process to lift the blackened coating and embedded grime from the oak beams. Work progressively across the visible beam faces and details, checking the timber as the finish was removed before leaving the restored wood ready for the client's chosen finish.
