What was needed
We prepared and gently cleaned the Cotswold stone fireplace surround and the adjoining exposed oak beams, using controlled methods suited to historic interior surfaces. The work focused on removing accumulated soot, dirt and previous coatings without erasing the masonry texture or timber grain, leaving both features clean, even and ready for any final protective finish selected by the homeowner.
