Gentle surface cleaning lifted built-up grime and oxidation from the structural frame and tongue-and-groove ceiling while preserving the character of the original oak.

What was needed
Prepared and protected the porch work area, then used a controlled, timber-sensitive cleaning process across the oak beams, posts and tongue-and-groove ceiling. The treatment removed surface dirt, weathering and discolouration without treating the timber like a harsh industrial blasting job, leaving an even, refreshed surface ready for the owner's chosen protective finish.
