What was needed
The work covered the visible brick fireplace surround and associated facework. The team assessed the masonry, protected adjacent interior surfaces, and used carefully controlled low-impact cleaning to lift ingrained dirt and unwanted surface residue without eroding the brick. The cleaned fireplace was then checked for an even, natural-looking finish and clear definition across the individual bricks and joints.
